- Nature "300"
The project is based on the author’s father’s practice who, between 1989 and 1993—shortly after the Chornobyl disaster—kept a school nature observation diary, recording the smallest changes in the local flora and fauna. This notebook, preserving the atmosphere of post-Chornobyl childhood, became an archive of attentive human coexistence with the environment.
Today, Andrii continues this form within a new historical reality—during the time of full-scale war. His diary transforms into a chronicle of ecocide: through digital media he gathers evidence of the war’s impact on nature—from fires and polluted rivers to species disappearance and landscape transformation. The digital environment becomes a field of contemporary observation, where data, images, and online reports acquire the status of documents of their time.
