Andrii Kasianchuk was born in 1996 and lives and works in Kyiv, Ukraine. He began his artistic practice in 2021 after studying at Ihor Chekachkov Photo Academy. His practice uses photography as a means of observation, documentation, and reflection on experience. His work explores the relationship between humans and nature, memory, and the consequences of war, combining a personal perspective with broader social and environmental contexts.
He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. In 2024–2025, he studied art photography at the MYPH School of Conceptual Photography. In 2025, he completed the mentorship programme organised by the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers (UAPP) and received a grant to develop his own photographic project. In 2026, he became a member of UAPP.
Andrii’s works are in private collections in Ukraine and France.
